...photoshooting...

GOSH! A MONTH to UPDATE?
*bad steph*
*bad steph*
Well actually I do want to update on numerous occasions but laziness strikes.
Erm, maybe more to the 'I rather chill out' then 'Lets pour our thoughts into blogging!'.
Haha! =)

Well you can't blame me since I have been up in the heart of KL since the end of last month
and with that equals to
food,
shopping,
chilling out,
more yummylicious food and fun! *grins from ear to ear*

So to sum up what's been happening, I was surprised to be chosen as one of the finalist for MIFA's- Who's Next Model Search! Woo hoo! And that the second good news I've got as the biggest is when I was offered a contract with Andrewsmodel! *prays for it to not stop*
Along with me are 9 other girls, all who are experienced in this industry so technically I'm like the extreme newbie. *gasp* But still, I am over the top when I heard the news.
The girls are fun and yes very tall too, now I wish I were taller abit more then my current height. I wonder if climbing bars help anymore these days. Anyway the photoshoots are fun!
We had Roxy, Tiffany & Co, Snips for our hair makeover, Dentistry, the one and only Datuk Farah Khan *her clothes are awecome!* and many more to come. Aren't it exciting! =)

Here's a sneakpeak of one of the shoots. Technically it's not the official picture but it's the picture that I took before going home that day. Can you spot me?

this is a photoshoot session for Datuk Farah Khan =)

of shaved ice cream and love

It was just after watching the Expendables after a super short casting for the upcoming MIFA Model Search 2010. Have been hearing about this extra fine texture that surprisingly for an ice cream, it's good, so I decided to give it a try. We went to Lot 10 since movie was in Pavilion that night and...

Gosh, it really delivers for an ice cream.
The texture is soft and fine but at the same time it's firm enough to keep it from melting in an instant.
Out of all the types of flavours and oh-so-tempting-pictures that can literally melt me,
I decided to try the Mango Pamelo. Why you ask? Because I heart mango.
To sum it all up,
the flavour is just overflowing with mango-juiciness and of course cubes of mango will be there.

can you just see the fine layers of the ice cream?

awww... let's go for another round! =)

of packed halls and interesting peeps

Had an event job last week at KL Convention Centre for PC Fair 2010. We were known as the unifi girls due to the fact that we were under TM Streamyx for 3 whole days straight! Here's a list of what we did to kill time with all the hours of standing in heels:
1) lots of laughing
2) striking poses
3) mediocre food
4) crazy people all around
5) giving the crowd lots of streamyx super orange waving hand
6) TM should have balloons! Lots and lots of them, but failed coz none in sight. *sigh*
7) lots of pictures
Weeee! Am going to miss doing this as this is my last time with them. Au Revoir!

curry laksa with a twist

The day begins when I saw my handphone's time and the word 'Heck!' was the first thing that came to the mind and that was at 10.30am. The reason was that I am going to poison everyone at home with my first attempt at cooking curry laksa at home. Victor decided to help me in my wonderful attempt, actually I think another reason he's there is to make sure that I don't burn the whole kitchen down.

Oh the horror! =)

So yes, after cooking up some breakfast while defrosting the prawns, we started our mission. For first time cooks, mum bought us this packet of instant curry laksa's 'rempah'. Just can't think of the english name for that at this time. As yesterday was the night market day in our neighborhood, we bought all the suppose-to-be fresh ingredients coz none of us is going to wake up so early in the morning for the morning market. Not up for it, erm well maybe next time. And you know instead of the normally used mee for laksa, we decided to change it to spaghetti. We sorted out the ingredients and cook we did. the results is actually not bad. Going to flatter myself with it saying it's pretty good for our first time attempt. *Yippee*

Egg-E the egg!

something old, something new

Yes after what seems like a long time of absent from this blog, here I am back again. Finally fingers are willing to ran across the keyboard to update this poor old baby. =)

Joining the Estee Lauder Model Search 2010 competition is actually fun what with the crash course of catwalking and yummylicious food, aww that's just my weak spot, fittings, hair and makeups and of course the family members and friends that drove al the way up to KLCC just to support me, it will be a memory that I don't think I will ever forget. It's not entirely about winning, it is just giving all you've got and enjoying the moment and be yourself that is more important. Congrats to both winners from both category, you deserve it! *huggies*

Tho I didn't win anything from the event, I think I got an even better birthday present from it when I received a personal call from Andrew Tan himself. Gosh, I actually thought I was dreaming a rather real dream during the conversation with him. WOW! It is indeed a privillage and a honour to be chosen and given the opportunity to join the exclusive agency and thus built a solid foundation for me to build my career. Thank you once again! With it comes the 1 to 1 training with no other than Tinie, she's amazingly tall and thin, I just feel so intimidated when I'm alone with her, how can I not be? Models struting their stuff on the runway may look as easy as A-B-C but let me tell you the truth, the training you have to endure before that is like you just started to play with the rolling fire in hell. But for what it's worth, it's worth it! =)
