The September Issue

Fashion is a religion. This is the bible.

To those who are fashion followers and those who are working in the fashion industries, whether you adore fashion and are always among the trend setters, or are those that were pulled into the fashionable way of everything that goes around your life, this is the real Devils' Wear Prada. I was asked to watch this and was told it is the thing although it came out last year but Y-E-S it is a brilliant documentary real life behind the scene movie.

The September Issue is a documentary movie about the behind the scene drama that follows the legendary editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Vogue Magazine.  This is a documentary that focuses on Anna Wintour as visits the annual fashion shows, accepts and dismisses the latest creations by the biggest names in fashion. She also works with models, photographers and writers and work together with her staff to bring her marvelous ideas to life on the pages on Vogue and to determine what the world fashionistas will be wearing for the next 12 months. The September Issue is said to be the bible of fashion and by following you will not stray from it's straight path to fashion heaven.

This documentary movie follows the making of the September Issue year 2007 where Sienna Miller was featured on its front cover. For that issue along, it weighed nearly five pounds, was 840 pages and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published. This was the best selling issue ever made selling up to thirteen million copies and thus impacting the $300 billion global fashion industry more that any other publication.

Here are some pics from The September Issue... =)

Case 39

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and yes that means in comes the work load of both cleaning the whole house from top to bottom and left to right and not forgetting that I'll be baking a few type of cookies this year *yippie, jumps in the air*  and also the work load of getting documents and meetings finish and done with for the debate tournament that I'm helping to organize this March... *phew*. Halfway through doing the decorations in the house and I've decided to take a break from it and watch Case 39 on my computer.

Case 39 is a tale of psychological terror between a devoted social worker, Renee Zellweger who acts as Emily Jenkins and a mysterious young girl Lilith Sullivan by Jodelle Ferland. Emily thought that she is protecting this young 10 year old innocent girl who seems to have crazy parents that wants to murder their only child. As she takes on the case given to her to be under her care, she finds herself drawn to the child and somehow weird things starts happening to those who seem to have made contact with Lilith. She soon found out from Lilith parents that she is in fact a body carrier of the soul of a demon and the only way to save herself and to end all the evil things is by killing her.

i heart love =)

I'm feeling it everywhere, feeling what you said to me, what you did for me all the time, it makes me full of it. Oh how there are words to explain this feeling that we have, that we share and that we always treasure each and every moment of it. It's such a glorious thing to have and to own it. Here's a peak of it for you... =)

you...

It was sweet at first yet as the day proceeds, bits of bitterness creeps in into my mind. I find it a little shocking to learn that he would give in to the little game played on fb. Well, we can't always expect everything to be real and according to him, it's just nothing. Yet still, as the awareness creep slowly into my subconscious mind, I realise it's not anger that bothers me. To my horror, I'm actually being silly with jealousy over such  matter. I'm just sick with jealously. Gosh it makes me realise that you are so much more important to me than anything else that I don't even want to share that request with anyone else. I can't even bare the thought of it.

By the sound of your voice when you call to find out what's the matter with me, tears just suddenly rain down my face and I couldn't seem to stop them at will. You being so nice and concern even though I'm making a fuss over nothing makes me realise that I'm just being even more stupid and silly to even think of the unthinkable things that's running in my head. How foolish I've been when I know that deep down inside you'll always be there for me no matter what the future holds. I do hope that holds cause for me, I would want to spend mine with yours.

I hate it when I hurt you with my stupidity and crazy actions. Oh how I wish time can be changed. Knowing that you were so hurt hurt me even more that made want to grab my bag to catch the first transport I could find to go all the way up there to search for you. Forgive me for being not understanding enough in this matters which are dear to you. I know it is not easy for you to sacrifice so much for me yet on my side, me being irrelevant. I have no idea what to do or say to undo my mistakes, I'm so sorry hun, I truly am sorry. They say that time heals all mistakes, I pray that this is one of those moments that can be healed and forgiven.
Will be waiting for you.

Pepper Lunch

I was thrilled when Steven *hugs* brought me over to try out Pepper Lunch since I have absolutely no clue whatsoever it's about, yeah I know I got to be a serious noob at this. It was after watching Universal Soldier at Pavilion last Sunday after meeting his friends for a catch up. So back to the food,  *drools* it was YUMMY!

Pepper Lunch is basically a DIY fast food outlet. The food is cooked with its very own unique design iron plate. This iron plate is the successful formula of Pepper Lunch. It can heat up to 260 Celsius in just 70 seconds and will remain hot about 80 Celsius for more than 20 minutes. This is how the food is kept warm for a longer time and customers can enjoy the full flavour of their chosen dishes.

The very first thing when we got to the table was this cute little set of 4 items which consists of Black Pepper, Salt, Garlic Soy Sauce and the Honey Brown Sauce. *adorable*
I chose the Curry Beef Pepper Rice with Cheese with Steven picked the Beef Sukiyaki. As soon as our food arrives, we had to immediately slowly stir it all up so as to not let the food stick to the plate. As I was new at it, Steven did everything for me. Hehe. Fun right?  =)
*Thinks to ownself, 'So have to bring my bro to this... =D'*

Pepper Lunch! =)

The 4 important Sauces

Every dish comes with this Reminder the plate is HOT.

Mine! =)
