what a week...

Well well... I've finally finish a whole set of Chinese drama-kung fu series about 35 episodes which took me about 5 days. i think my eyes will literally pop out with the non stop watching of series from my computer... =) But now it's over and I'll probably bore myself with all the movies downloaded earlier since last dec till now coz i'm practically car-less till next week.. *purr*. I've decided to learn a little bit about cross stitch. Gone through some of the patterns online and will pick a simple one to start. Wee! This is gonna be fun! Here are some of the designs.

Boy Angel

Rooster

Mother's Love

Dimensions Butterflies

Dimensions Sweetheart's Gate

Adorable right the above? =) Here's a lil something about the movie I've just watch yesterday.
The movie Julie & Julia is quite interesting where it shows the life of Julie Powell, underemployed and a falied novelist who's about to turn 30, decides to cook her way through" Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in a year and blog about it. She decided to follow the cookbook written by Julia Child who also happens to be her favourite cook. These stories shows how two women learn to cook and find success. They are also supported by their ever loving husband and their friends.

Well then, till next time. Toodles.

Happy 2010!!!

It's a new year!!! Yeah, I know, it's been like 6 days ago already. Was in KL this year for the new year's celebration, saw the fireworks display at KLCC and it was great to spend time with loved ones too. Had lots of fun during my stay there this new year, what with all the convenience being int he heart of KL with everything just walking distance away. Met up with some friends and visited relatives, bbq's, movies, shops and the food- YUMMY! =)

Caught up with lots of movies ever since finals are over... it's like a movie marathon, one after the other. Avatar was awesome, totally amazing! The graphics was breathtaking *dreams*. Sherlock Holmes was nice, what with being outsmart by Irene Adler again and again, it drives Mr. Holmes mad. And the way where he calculated of the event that is suppose to happen, like in the boxing ring, thinking of how to defeat this opponent in just seconds, wow. Hahaha.

Among the food outlets that I've explored during my stay, the one that caught my eye the most was Fullhouse at Petaling Jaya. The concept is a bungalow that's converted into a cafe and store at the same time. It's covered all in white with white lilies and roses everywhere. It's almost like another version of the white house but not THE White House. The surrounding is beautiful and it's perfect for those relaxing moments while slowly drifting away from the everyday stress and worries. The food is delicious too with the oh-so-adorable-looking desserts. There are about 30 different flavours and types to choose from at the dessert section. It's not easy to select just a few, felt like trying everything on the menu. =) Here are some pictures and directions to get to this adorable cafe.

And now am back home, gosh, gonna be bored again.. *purr*. Gonna keep myself occupied for the upcoming 2nd Malaysia Debate Open this 5th - 9th March 2010. With the press conference coming and paper works to be submitted, it's gonna be a joy ride all the way to the end. Join now to be the selected teams to be in the fun and trilling competition.
And now... waiting for my final exams results.. not liking it. Hoping for the best. Till next time then =).

the escape - car got BAM!!!

As I was going and following my lane like I always do, abiding by the crazy laws of driving.... suddenly... BAM!!! this not-so-young uncle hit and practically ran away... HAH!!! I ain't your ordinary female driver ooi uncle and not forgetting the dying sun practically eating us alive, followed him of course and *bells ringing in my head* the ran-away driver thought he lost me and stop in front of MY youngest brother primary school. Apparently his kid goes there too. Can you believe it, being a grown man at least he can *hello?* come out of his car to see the damage, but nooooo, it seems that he's too busy on the phone talking to who-knows-who. Knock on his window *knock knock* and he have the nerve to ask me to wait a while. Me being patient after the incident (no idea why O_+) said ok and I went to find my brother and ask him to wait in the car while I sort this out. And then *rubs hands* let the story begins. He claimed that I entered his lane and bang into his 4 wheel drive while I was driving my tiny bitsy kancil. Wow! If I were to bang his ride, geez, the damage would be mostly on my car but apparently, mine was a tiny scratch while his right side of the car (the two doors) were dented in a way that only he can achieved it if HE were to cut into my lane and thus the BANG!!! After explaining it to him bout the real situation he remain *silent* and resort to "Let's make a report and claim from our insurance." and I was like "Give me your details and you'll be hearing from my dad." And my brains were going like "you trying to step on me, hahaha."

So, when home, let bro have his lunch and Voila! dad's home, told him bout the incident and gave him the details n bla bla bla, and he gave that person a call. And my oh my, he's trying to change the story saying it's my fault and it's so clear that his voice is always on the rise. Gosh, look who's panicking now =). No one can run around trees with dad *proud of you dad* and dad, uncle n me are off to see him again... guess where? Duh! the hot and sexy crime spot! (infront of EQ). Went there and showed dad his car and the ever so obvious dent that the poor car had to suffer, saw the running around the trees and the bush and if given a chance he might even run around the buildings there and then. But too bad uncle, you got nailed at every story that you conjured up out of thin air that doesn't even make sense (well I guess it does make sense BUT to you only) and frankly you got what you deserve and *ching* *ching* $$$ you are paying for it. =P

What an interesting event to start of my day. =)

a catch up moment...

I've been neglecting my blog for ages due to my procrastination issues. Everytime I'm online, the first site that I'll do is sign in to MSN, then log in into Gmail, then Facebook, and who knows how long that'll take, and the rest is history. Poor bloggie is left to rot. So many things happened, M.J. passing to a better place, mid-terms coming up and gosh!, nothing done so far. Me getting a part-time just to keep me occupied and my brains working all the time insead of dwelling on everything and thinking crap. But I have to admit, working is fun to the max, haha, maybe lots of you will like totally disagree with me but heck, to me it has been always a new day for me. I'm working in a law firm and ys, you can imagine the kind of work I'll be dealing with. Some of you have come to me and, why a law firm? But to me it's why not? It may be fun and we'll never know till we try it out and Y-E-S to me, it has been interesting all the way and I'm not regretting it. =D People normally have this image in their mind where a people working in law firm's dead boring and deals with the various clauses of law in litigation, conveyancing and many more, but to tell you the truth, the lawyers and my seniors there are all out-going and not dead boring at all. So many things to discuss about, new things to learn everyday and food, my oh my the food *slurps*. *Hush* I'll let you guess bout the food =)
Missing my brother lots ever since he went to KL for studies, oh boy, the house is not as noisy as it once were. *sigh*
I know I have to study instead of updating my blog in a very super duper long time, but I'll be finally legal tomorrow! I'm so excited. Weeee.... *Warning, this is where my insanity strikes yet again, Hahaha =D* And for that, I'll be cooking my own spaghetti for lunch tmr, yippie the kitchen's mine, so move away now lil brother.
Ciaoz, mum's bugging me to get off the comp now.... Oh well, books here I unwillingly come.
